If this is your first time on a SUP, Manly Kayak Centre offer private lessons. In Manly Cove, you will be paddling amongst moored yachts with the optionto discover some of the local hidden beaches. Our favourite is Store Beach, a short paddle from the Wharf and only accessible by water. If you’re looking for other areas to stand up paddle board on the Northern Beaches, we have created a list of our top 5 favourite places.

Are you looking for a fun land based activity instead? Why not hire a bike from, Manly Bike Tours and along the coast to Shelly Beach. You will need at least 1 hour, but we recommend you hire for longer and ride over the headland to Freshwater Beach.

Head back into the lane ways for a healthy salad or a bowl of delicious dumplings for lunch.

Verd Manly is a plant-based restaurant that only offers Vegan friendly meals. Some local favourites are their delicious Raw Rad Thai, Bondi Broc and Tijuana Bowl.

Next door you will find the little Asian salad bar, Banana Blossom. They have been a household name on the Northern Beaches since they opened their first store in Mona Vale in 2009. They are the perfect salad to get takeaway and eat beside the beach. Their Tokyo Classic salad with either chicken or tofu added is particularly popular.

Momo Manly is also close by and you can have Nepalese dumplings or a Hawaiian sashimi salad. They have outdoor tables to sit and enjoy your delicious meal. In winter they have heat lamps and colourful blankets to keep you warm and in summer the restaurant is in the shade. Making it the perfect spot for year round outdoor dining.

Get the girls together to work as a team to complete a series of mental and logical challenges at Room Eight in Manly. You can choose to complete one of their themed rooms or try one of their Pack hunts around Manly.

If you feel like an afternoon tasting gin, head to Manly Spirits for a tour of their distillery and get an understanding of how they craft their gins, vodka and liqueur. Afterwards, join an in depth tasting experience and try some the spirits you saw getting made.
