Manly Ferry

Step aboard the iconic Manly Ferry for an Insta-worthy view of Sydney sans the crowds.
Sunset casts a mesmerising glow over the city skyline, with the Sydney harbour Bridge offering a breathtaking backdrop. Let the vibrant hues of dusk add a touch of magic to your Insta feed.
Manly Beach

The home of the Budgy Smuggler, Manly Beach was voted the best beach in Australia on Tripadvisor this year. With its white sand and sentinel Norfolk Pines, this 2km stretch of coastline is a quintessential Sydney landmark, perfect for capturing unforgettable moments.
North Head
Visitors come from far and wide to snap a shot from the top of North Head Sanctuary. Take the 9km walk around the headland to discover the breathtaking views south to South Head and across Sydney, and north along the dramatic cliffs. If your spirit is willing but your time (or fitness) is limited, the 161 bus from Manly Wharf, Stand C, will take you up to Fairfax Lookout.
Little Manly Cove

If you are looking for a less populated spot on your hunt for the perfect Instagram shot, look no further than Little Manly Cove. This hidden beach is home to a beautiful harbour swimming pool which can make for the perfect ‘gram. The beach is definitely worth taking the time to have a swim, so be sure to bring your swimmers and towel with you!
Bower Pool

The Fairy Bower Rockpool is located along the famous Shelly Beach Walk. Its unique design, coupled with the ethereal sculpture ‘The Sea Nymphs’ by Helen Leete, offers a captivating setting for your Instagram feed. Immerse yourself in the charm of this ocean pool and craft unforgettable images.
Under the Sea at Cabbage Tree Bay

You’ll need an underwater camera for this experience. Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve is home to an extraordinary amount of sea life, from friendly Gary the Groper, our resident Eastern Blue Groper, to giant cuttlefish and spotted wobbegongs. Hire a snorkel and mask from Manly Dive Centre, BYO or jump on a tour with Ecotreasures to ensure you don’t miss out on this amazing under-the-sea photo op.
Shelly Beach
This protected little curve of sand within Cabbage Tree Bay is only a short stroll from Manly Beach and is a beauty in its own right. Backing onto the stunning North Head Sanctuary, Shelly Beach gives you a beautiful rocky backdrop for your insta pics.
Manly to Spit
The Manly Scenic Walkway, part of the 80km Bondi to Manly Walk, is a local favourite for hiking and views. The walk goes from beach to bush in a matter of minutes and offers lots of great lookout points and photo ops along the way. Some of our favourite shots, which will make your friends jealous, are taken at Reef Beach and Dobroyd Head.
