Saigon Supper Inn
Saigon Supper Inn is a relaxed Vietnamese canteen at Manly Wharf from Australian-Vietnamese chef Bao La, celebrating the fresh, vibrant flavours of Ho Chi Minh City street food. The menu is simple, flavour-packed and designed for any time of day, whether you are grabbing something quick on the go or sitting down with friends to share.
A highlight is the banh mi, with five variations to choose from. The Bánh Mì Thịt layers traditional Vietnamese cold cuts, while the Bánh Mì Ốp La makes a great breakfast option with a fried egg. For something richer, try the Bánh Mì Heo Quay with crisp roast pork belly, or the Bánh Mì Gà Chiên with fried chicken and fish sauce caramel. Plant-based diners will enjoy the Bánh Mì Chay, filled with lemongrass tofu, vegan mayo and vegan pâté. Each banh mi is served on bread baked fresh daily in-house using sustainable NSW flour.
The menu also features Phở Ho Chi Minh, with its signature slightly sweeter, richer broth. The Đặc biệt comes with rare sliced beef, brisket and beef meatballs, while lighter options include noodles with broth or a simple bowl of the broth on its own.
To drink, diners can enjoy Vietnamese iced coffee, fresh young coconut juice, kombucha from Byron Bay’s Good Happy, soft drinks and a small selection of local and Vietnamese beers.
Chef Bao La brings global experience from kitchens in Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Paris, alongside a passion for sharing the flavours of his Vietnamese heritage. Saigon Supper Inn offers Northern Beaches locals and visitors a place to connect over food that is fresh, vibrant and made with care.
