Remembrance Day 2025
On 11 November 1918, four bloody years of brutal conflict came to an end. Almost 62,000 Australians died fighting for our freedom and in service of our nation.
Remembrance Day commemorates the Armistice at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, marking the end of World War I and remembers all those who have suffered or died in wars and armed conflicts.
Northern Beaches Council is hosting two services on Tuesday 11 November 2025 and you are welcome to attend.
Manly War Memorial, The Corso
The Service at Manly War Memorial, The Corso, commences at 10.45am. All members of the community are invited to attend, and there is an opportunity for the general public to lay private tributes.
Manly War Memorial Park, Manly Dam
The Service at Manly War Memorial Park, Manly Dam, commences at 10.45am. All members of the community are invited to attend, and there is an opportunity for the general public to lay private tributes.
Please note, the Manly Dam vehicle entry gate on King Street will be closed between 10 – 11.30am, with no vehicle access for the public into or out of Manly Dam during this time. View map for Manly Dam
