Mardi Gras 2025: Celebrating You – Past Present Future

Celebrate queer joy, community, and connection at an event honouring every version of you—past, present, and future. This Mardi Gras, Claud Bailey from Transmedium has curated a special experience to celebrate the diverse journeys of individuals. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as who they once were, who they are now, or who they aspire to be.

The evening begins with the screening of Right Here, a short film that premiered at the Sydney Film Festival in 2022. The film follows Grace, a non-binary teen, on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Featuring Zoe Terakes (Talk to Me, Wentworth) and Aud Mason-Hyde (Jimpa, F**king Adelaide), Right Here is a love letter to queer youth and a powerful reflection on the strength needed to live authentically.

Following the screening, a panel discussion with queer and trans artists and advocates will offer stories of resilience. Guests will also have the opportunity to contribute to an intergenerational mural, fostering creative expression and community connection. The night will be filled with refreshments, conversation, reflection, and dancing.

Who Should Attend? This event welcomes all members of the LGBTQIA+SB community from the Northern Beaches (and beyond), with an emphasis on intergenerational connection. Queer youth, families, older generations, and allies are invited to celebrate queer joy, connection, and community.

Tickets are $10 and include light refreshments.
