Visitors to the Manly Writers’ Festival can experience four days of author talks, panels, workshops and special events held across several walkable venues in Manly from 19–22 March 2026. The Festival brings together leading and emerging writers, journalists and storytellers who share ideas, narratives and lively conversations—stories across Manly.
Programming spans fiction, non‑fiction, history, memoir, politics and poetry, with events ranging from intimate interviews to major public discussions and creative late‑night sessions. Key highlights include the Thomas Keneally Oration and special events featuring well‑known Australian authors and speakers.
Festival venues include galleries, community spaces, theatres and clubs throughout Manly, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the area as they move between sessions. Most locations are within easy walking distance of one another and are close to cafés, beaches and public transport.
