Hundreds of women will come together in matching pink sports bras on Manly Beach on Saturday 31 October for Pink With Purpose, a morning of movement, connection and fundraising for Breast Cancer Trials, featuring a record attempt and giant human heart inspired by local mum Bec’s extraordinary breast cancer story.

Bec’s family friend Emily White, founder of ZYLA Active, has been the driving force behind Pink With Purpose, turning one friend’s deeply personal experience into a growing movement of women coming together for other women. ZYLA is donating the event’s activewear, helping ensure the money raised can go directly to Breast Cancer Trials.

Emily has joined forces with her friends Zoe and Anna from Brain of a Dietitian (BOAD) as key partners in bringing Pink With Purpose to life. BOAD is a Sydney-based, dietitian-led business will creating a thoughtfully designed pink breakfast centred around whole, nourishing, high-protein and anti-inflammatory foods.

Women are encouraged to bring their mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, nieces and friends, or rally their running and walking clubs, swimming groups, gyms, workplaces and sporting teams.

The more women who come, the bigger the heart, the greater the awareness and the more money we can raise for breast cancer research.

Participants can also create their own fundraising pages, giving every woman the opportunity to turn her morning at Pink With Purpose into an even greater contribution to Breast Cancer Trials.

Thanks to ZYLA donating the activewear, BOAD donating the breakfast, and generous sponsors and partners, 100% of funds raised through ticket sales, personal fundraising, donations, the live auction and goodie bags will go to Breast Cancer Trials.

The morning will unfold from sunrise to breakfast, with each part designed around movement, connection and women coming together for women:

5:30am: Optional sunrise meditation and beachfront yoga

7:00am: Coffee and gathering as women begin arriving, connecting and turning the beachfront pink.

7:30am: Pink With Purpose begins, bringing hundreds of women together in matching pink ZYLA sports bras.

7:45am: The record attempt and giant human heart, with hundreds of women coming together on the sand in honour of everyone touched by breast cancer, creating one of the morning’s most powerful visual moments.

8:00am: Participants will turn the Manly beachfront pink on a 3.4km return walk from Queenscliff to Manly.

9:00–10:00am: Everyone returns to Bombora Pavilion for the Pink Breakfast, a colourful hour of nutritious pink food, conversation and connection, followed by the live auction.
