Spring Studio Series: Ornamental Clay with Ebony Russell
Explore the decorative and ornate possibilities of clay with ceramic artist Ebony Russell in this 3-part workshop series.
Channelling her signature style, icing-inspired piping, intricate layering, and ornate, sculpted flourishes, Russell will guide participants through decorating ornamental objects.
Working with air-drying clay, you’ll shape a series of ornamental pieces; from delicate plaques to sculptural treasure dishes, each one a small, opulent object, perfect for a Christmas gift or to keep for yourself.
This series is presented alongside the exhibition Girly in Manly at Manly Art Gallery & Museum Fri 25 Sept – Sun 29 Nov.
All materials provided and no previous ceramics or art experience required.
