Yeehaw, Brookvale! Brookie Trail Saddles Up for a Day of Country Fun

Dust off your boots and get ready to two-step your way through Brookvale, the inaugural Brookie Hoedown is riding into town on Saturday 19 July 2025 for one massive precinct-wide celebration of all things country, community and craft.

Presented by the Brookie Trail collective featuring 7th Day Brewery, Dad & Dave’s, Bucketty’s, Manly Spirits, Goodradigbee Distillers, Freshwater Brewing, Nomad Brewing, Chalky’s Pool Bar and Sale Pepe – this festival-style activation promises a day of boot-scootin’ beats, cowboy-themed fun, southern eats and barnyard brews.

Each venue is bringing their A-game, with a jam-packed schedule of music, games and country-inspired antics:

7th Day Brewery

Kick off the day with a Dolly Parton Karaoke sesh that’ll have the whole taproom belting out bangers in full diva spirit. From 3-7pm, Martin DJ takes over with a golden-hour country set full of vintage classics and yeehaw energy, leading into a full-blown hoedown with the Joe West Band from 7-10pm. Don’t miss the 5pm line dancing class, beginners more than welcome!

Dad & Dave’s

The action starts from midday with a live MC hosting cowboy-themed games and giveaways. Craft your own look at the cowboy hat station, warm up the vocal cords at the campfire karaoke, and fuel up on all-day American-style burgers.

Goodradigbee

It’s all about muscle and fire here, catch the wood chopping demo and a high-impact stockman whip display, then gather ‘round for lamb on the spit straight off the fire.

Bucketty’s Brewery

Get your boots dirty with all-day line dancing workshops, and if you’re game, take on the mechanical bull in the backyard. They’re teaming up with MAC Collective to dish out mouth-watering smoked meats, while Freshwater Spirits and country tunes keep the vibes rolling all day.

Manly Spirits

Get ready to two-step your way through a country dance party running from midday ‘til late – think big beats, smooth sips, and all the western energy you can handle.

Expect big energy, big flavours, and even bigger hats – the Brookie Hoedown is a full-day, multi-venue bash perfect for locals, families, and weekend wanderers alike. With country-style eats, themed cocktails, live bands, DJs and interactive workshops across the trail, there’s something for every cowpoke on the Northern Beaches.
