Visit Scotland Island

Scotland Island is a 10 minute ferry ride from the Church Point Wharf to Tennis Court Wharf. There are no cars or shops on the island, so we recommend you pack everything before you hop on the ferry. After you get off the ferry, head to the nearby Catherine Park for a picnic and go for a swim to cool off.  There is a public walking track around the entire island that will take you around 30 minutes.

Explore Morning Bay

Morning Bay is another ferry ride from Church Point wharf that will take you into the heart of Ku-ring-gai National Park. While you are there you can enjoy bushwalks, lookouts, aboriginal engraving sites and waterfalls. If you are feeling up to it Pittwater Eco Adventures run a monthly kayak and SUP tour that will allow you to ensure you have a fun filled day exploring Morning Bay and the surrounding bays.

Walk along the foreshore

The Bayview to Church Point Path is a 6 km return walk along the foreshore with no steps, which makes it a relaxing stroll to enjoy the views. Along the walk you will see plenty of cafes and restaurants that you can stop at for a coffee or lunch.

Picnic beside McCarrs Creek

McCarrs Creek is a perfect spot to stop for a picnic. There is a small wharf you can fish off and a shallow swimming area to enjoy. Get your friends together and enjoy a lovely day out on the grassy banks of McCarrs Creek.
