The Organic Scarecrow Freshwater Market
The Organic Scarecrow don’t just deliver to your home or business, or offer a click and collect service, we also operate a ‘plastic-free’ organic produce and whole-foods ‘pop up’ market in Freshwater, including leafy greens, fruit, veggies, dairy products, fresh organic bakery goods, pantry staples and an all-round positive local vibe, a weekly tradition where locals can shop, learn and connect.
The Organic Scarecrow Freshwater Produce Market operates on Sundays from 8am – 1pm, from the lawn of the Harbord Literary Institute building at 29 Lawrence Street (next to the Aboriginal Heritage Office).
The Organic Scarecrow Team were proud to start this market at the end of 2019, to address a community need identified since the closure of the local IGA supermarket and other produce shops in the village.
We hope to see you at our organic produce market soon, and don’t forget your sustainable shopping bags and baskets!
