There is no better place to say ’I do’ than on one of the stunning beaches or reserves on the Northern Beaches. We have plenty of beautiful spots to make the perfect backdrop for your special day.

If you dream of a wedding ceremony on the beach or in a public reserve on the Northern Beaches, you will need to make a booking with our local Council. You can browse the list of stunning locations and book on the Northern Beaches Council website.

We’ve put together a list of spectacular spots to say ‘I do’ on the Northern Beaches.

Bible Garden, Palm Beach

The picturesque Bible Garden is a beautiful garden perched high above the southern end of Palm Beach. You can expect panoramic views of the full crescent of Palm Beach, Barrenjoey Headland, Pittwater Estuary, Broken Bay, and on a clear day you can even see the Central Coast.

Clareville Beach, Clareville

Clareville Beach is a small harbour beach reserve located on the Pittwater side of Avalon. The beach is popular with families and busy in school holidays. We recommend you book the southern end which is away from the hustle and bustle, but still offers picturesque views.

Freshwater View Reserve, Queenscliff

Freshwater View Reserve is located high up on Queenscliff headland and offers stunning views over the glorious Freshwater Beach.  At the entrance of the reserve you will find a historical sandstone archway, which gives it an intimate vibe to say your vows. The park offers a lovely flat grassy area for your guests.

Little Manly Point, Manly

With pristine views over Manly Cove and only a short walk from the busy streets in Manly, Little Manly Point provides a sheltered setting for your wedding. Offering a grassy park area and lots of shady trees for the perfect summer wedding.

Lucinda Park, Palm Beach

The view at Lucinda Park is absolutely to die for. The views across Pittwater and over to Ku-Ring-Gai National Park make the perfect backdrop for your wedding vows and it will definately be a day you won’t forget!

North Mona Vale Headland, Mona Vale

Set on top of Mona Vale Headland there is a spacious grassy area and plenty of room to set up. Enjoy panoramic views of the local beaches, making it a wedding to remember for you and your guests.

Shelly Beach, Manly

For a beach ceremony in front of the glistening waters of Cabbage Tree Bay, Shelly Beach is the perfect location. It is a great place for a late afternoon ceremony and to avoid the heat and crowds, weddings are only available from April to October.

Bayview Park, Bayview

Bayview Park is located right on the foreshore of Bayview in stunning Pittwater. There is a large grassy area, perfect for any size and there are also fantastic reception venues nearby.

Station Beach Reserve, Palm Beach

Station Beach is located on the calm Pittwater side of Palm Beach and is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, sandy beach with calm waters and stunning views over Pittwater and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

Whale Beach

If your idea of the perfect wedding is a stone’s throw from the water with the sand between your toes, then Whale Beach is the spot for you.  The tall headlands and large Norfolk Pine Trees offer protection from the wind and there are plenty of stunning spots to tie the knot.
