Coffee Shops in Manly

Manly has lots of great coffee spots that appeal to different lifestyles. Here are some of our favourites.

Market lane café (Market Lane, Manly): The urban life area which locals realised that the triangle was the sunniest and most wind protected space in Manly. The café is a roasting company that lets you choose between espresso coffees or pour over filter coffees. The menu changes regularly to get the freshest and best coffees.

Fika- (5B Market Plaza, Manly): Fika is a Swedish word meaning “taking a break for coffee and a bite to eat. A cosy escape with a popular Scandinavian interior design and an untreated woodwork and industrial fixtures, peppered with canary yellow accents. Two types of coffee: Campos and bryggkaffe which is a Swedish filter coffer at $2 with unlimited help yourself refills

Barefoot Coffee Traders (18 Whistler St, Manly): For the serious caffeine addicts out there, this is a no-fuss, focused cafe where passion, expertise and highly-skilled baristas ensure that quality prevails over quantity. Intense aromas of coffee’s and deserts while an eight-hour cold drop and a pour over filter method join your usual array of espresso brews including organic house blends which are complimented with a different single origin blend, introduced every couple of days.

Belgrave Cartel (6 Belgrave St, Manly): One of Manly’s favourite hangout, Cartel is an intimate low-lit space with a unique European style. The day begins serving top notch espresso and an intense breakfast menu.

Little Belgrave Cartel (43 South Steyne, Manly): Want to sip a latte by the sea? This small café combines million dollar views with good coffee and a brunch menu. This retro grunge café is one of Manly’s local favourite’s and has a coffee reputation for strong, black, and bitter and a cup of this stuff would wake the dead. With distressed walls, exposed light bulbs, wooden booths, pressed metal ceiling, this place is a quirky hole in the wall with a hipster vibe.

Cove Espresso (Manly Wharf Forecourt, East Esplanade, Manly) Everyone likes a secret spot, and Cove Espresso is just that. A hidey hole positioned in the thick of the action. It’s a hidden gem on the way to work or as you arrive in Manly for a day of exploring. Working closely with the Information Centre, Cove Espresso is the perfect place for your quick caffeine fix.

Three Beans Manly (2A Darling Road, Manly): Three Beans serves up delicious organic coffee to get you amped up for an ocean swim. The interior is all recycled timber, exposed brick and weatherboard walls, wicker lamp shades stamped with “peace, love, coffee and surf.” This sums up the laid back vibe.
