Manly has lots of great coffee spots that appeal to different lifestyles. Here are some of our favourites.
Market lane café (Market Lane, Manly): The urban life area which locals realised that the triangle was the sunniest and most wind protected space in Manly. The café is a roasting company that lets you choose between espresso coffees or pour over filter coffees. The menu changes regularly to get the freshest and best coffees.
Fika– (5B Market Plaza, Manly): Fika is a Swedish word meaning “taking a break for coffee and a bite to eat”. A cosy escape with a popular Scandinavian interior design and an untreated woodwork and industrial fixtures, peppered with canary yellow accents. Two types of coffee: Campos and bryggkaffe which is a Swedish filter coffer at $5 with unlimited help yourself refills
Barefoot Coffee Traders (18 Whistler St, Manly): For the serious caffeine addicts out there, this is a no-fuss, focused cafe where passion, expertise and highly-skilled baristas ensure that quality prevails over quantity. This retro grunge café is one of Manly’s local favourite’s and has a coffee reputation for strong, black, and bitter and a cup of this stuff would wake the dead.
