The biggest event of the summer is back Australian Open of Surfing 2017 kicks off at Manly Beach Saturday 25th February through to Sunday March 5th.
Surf Action includes the QS6000 Men's and Women's WSL-sanctioned surf contests and Sydney Grom Challenge kicking off Saturday 25th.
Headlining the surfing this year is 2016 Women’s world Tour Champion Tyler Wright and Mens World Tour Surfer Julian Wilson, along with big names Laura Enever, Sally Fitzgibbons, Jack Freestone and Josh Kerr.
New to AOS is the Vans Pro Park Series (VPS), the VPS Oceania Championships showcasing the very best park skateboarding from all over the world starting Monday 27th along with the Vans BMX Pro Cup starting Sunday 26th February.
This event not only showcasing the best of surf/skate/BMX, there will be loads of onsite action, including live artwork displays, food carts, merchandise and the chance to win some awesome prizes and giveaways!
The MTV Music stage is back again on Manly Beach, with two nights of FREE Live Music from Australian Music talents Hermitude, Elk Road, Jezabels and PLTS along with local DJs.
Local venues around Manly will also be hosting special events throughout the week, from surf film festivals, art exhibitions and live music!
This event is not to be missed! Bringing in over than 325,000 national and international visitors!

Watsons Bay Beach Club
Beach Club located on Manly Beachfront
Monday- Friday: 11am-10pm, Sat-Sun: 9am-10pm
Beach Club will be set up on the Manly Beachfront hosting Live Music, Live Art and Yoga along with food and beverages available throughout the day and evening including coconut cocktails, fish & Chips, Hawaiian Poke and Oysters!
Manly Inflatable Boat Race
South Steyne Manly Beach
10:30am Sunday 26th February
Manly’s biggest and brightest charity race! Hitting the waters will be participants you and old, in the very best and creative fancy dress costumes! There will be an array of inflatable rafts – from rubber duckies, unicorns, pineapples to giant thongs all racing along the 1km course from Shelley Beach back to shore.
Tickets are $45 per person and all proceeds raised will go to Tour De Cure and Camp Quality.
