2016 ‘TASTE OF MANLY’ Food, Wine & Sustainability festival celebrates gourmet lifestyle – this weekend!
What would a perfect weekend in Sydney, Australia look like to you? If jumping on the quintessential Manly ferry and enjoying fine food, wine and live music alongside one of Sydney’s most famous beaches ticks all the boxes, this is the festival for you.
For the 30th consecutive year, Taste of Manly will open up the famous pedestrian Corso and beach to around 30 000 fine food and wine enthusiasts for two days.
Whether you’re into sampling wine from some of Australia’s most eminent wineries (Lindeman’s Mount Pleasant, Peppertree and Tamburlaine, to name just a few) or craft beer from local brewers like 4 Pines and Modus Operandi, chowing down on specially-made festival snacks from select local vendors, or listening to the blissful live tunes from from more than 20 Manly-based musicians over three stages, this festival boasts a program to impress local residents and visitors alike.
Local favourites Hugo’s, Hotel Steyne, Manly Wharf Hotel and many others will keep festival-goers well sated, while two full days of live music from the likes of Winston Surfshirt, Little Coyote, Sea Gypsies, The Strides and more.
